The Supremes
Diana Ross, Florence Ballard, and Mary Wilson --- The Supremes sang in a polished style that bridged the worlds of pop and soul. They were "America's most successfull female vocal group of all time"(Rock and Roll Hall of Fame). Behind them is their photo gallery and Real Audio "Stop! in the Name of Love", one in their 1964-65 run of five consecutive U.S. number one hits, (also including "Where Did Our Love Go," "Baby Love," "Come See About Me," and "Back in My Arms Again"). The 1968 chart topper (after Florence Ballard was replaced by Cindy Birdsong), "Love Child" is recognised as their ever greatest hit. Also, remember other Motown's classic R&B groups.
